How to Burn a Soy Candle Properly

The first burn is the most important
Let the candle burn until the wax melts all the way to the edges of the jar (usually 2–3 hours).
This prevents tunneling and helps the candle burn evenly.

Trim the wick before each burn
Before every use, trim the wick to about 5 mm.
This reduces smoke and ensures a clean, steady burn.

Do not let the candle burn for too long
Ideal burning time: 2–3 hours.
If burned longer, the wick may shift or the candle may start smoking.
Allow the wax to fully harden before lighting it again.

Protect the candle from drafts
Place it on a flat, stable surface away from drafts, windows, or air conditioning.
This keeps the flame steady and allows the wax to melt evenly.

Do not blow out the candle
Extinguish it using a lid or a snuffer.
This prevents wax splatter and the unpleasant smell of smoke.

Never leave a burning candle unattended
Do not leave it burning near children or pets.
Always place the candle on a non-flammable surface.

Do not burn the candle to the very bottom
If less than 1 cm of wax remains, do not light it again.
The glass may overheat and crack.
